Jared and I just got home from our cruise. We went on a Royal Caribbean Cruise. Our ship was called Monarch of the Seas. We left from L.A, went to San Diego, Catalina Island, Ensanda and then back to L.A. It was a blast! There was so much to do on the ship and so much to eat!! We went with some of Jared's buddies and their wives. Jared and the boys, gambled, played basketball, shuffle board and went rock climbing. Us girls played ping pong, laid out and laughed at our silly husbands.
I had to get a picture of Jen and Weston in their Life Jackets. The guys thought that the "Munster Drill" was hilarious! Jared kept saying Munster the whole time, apparently the word is funny. We were all crowded in this room and this girl across from me passed out. Entertaining.

Catalina was my favorite. We went mini golfing and shopped around and rented golf carts to drive around and explore. The island had been on fire the week before, so it was pretty burnt, but still beautiful! I can't imagine how pretty it would be green. Jared drove our golf cart and it was like touring the place during a NASCAR race. He has to be in front, going so fast and being crazy!! We did have fun, but next time I think I'll drive!
Next we went to Ensanda Mexico. What a dirty place. It was fun shopping at all the shops, but the little kids chasing you around to buy their Chiclets!! Crazy! We didn't buy any. We did buy some fake name brand sunglasses, a chair hammock and a little Mexican dress for Tatumn. ( Oh, ya, I'm having a ballerina princess!!)This is Jen in a Nacho Librae Mask. They were selling these all over the place. I almost bought one for Erik.
This is the monkey that greeted us one night. Our Stateroom guy was really good and making all the cute animals out of towels. And I loved the chocolate on the pillows. Oh ya, the shows on the ship were so fun! We went to a newlywed game and laughed so hard! Jared and I totally would have won!! We also saw a dueling pianos show which was great, a comedian and dancers. I totally could be a dancer on a Cruise ship. Just Kidding, I loved all the shows and they even had a midnight chocolate buffet one night!! So much chocolate!! We had a blast and I'm so glade Jared got to hang out with his buddies, I'm also glad they married awesome wives for me to hang out with. I loved it!!

Spring Concert

I did it, my first ever dance recital. It was so different to be back stage and in charge of everything than it was to be a dancer on the stage. My girls were amazing! I'm so proud of them! Not one major mistake or mishap. I am also so proud of all of my volunteers! They were amazing and the reason the show went so well. I am not very good at letting go of assignments and trusting people to do what I need them to do, but these guys did wonderful! Not one little girl cried and no one missed there dance! It was so nice to just be backstage and watch from the sidelines and relax. It was nice. My lighting and sound technicians were so great and I hope I can have them back again next year. I just can't believe how smoothly it all went. I'm so blessed, I guess I know it's what I'm suppose to do. I always say there is a time and season for everything, and I think this is my time. I just hope I can do all this and be a good mom. I know Jared will always be there for me. Elisa has the pics from the recital so check out her blog. These are Pictures of my Elite Ballet Company, Jr. Elite Company, Jr. Elite Ballet Company, and Elite Company.

I had the worst experience last night. Have you ever know that you were right but 20 people thought you were wrong? That happened to me last night. This Friday night is my Spring Concert for my studio. I rented the Price Civic Auditorium for three nights, wed and Thurs for dress rehearsals and Friday for the show. I paid A sound technician and lighting technician to be there all three nights. This has been planned out for 6 months and confirmed with the facility. Last night we begin our rehearsal and become interrupted by a group who has scheduled a Cultural Connection. The Cultural Connection is a group that puts on free concerts and shows that are free to the public. That means no one pays for the facility being used, the people involved to put it on and it is free to performers and audience. I was asked to cut my rehearsal short and I agreed to run it as fast as possible without ruining the integrity of my show. To make a long story short, people were rude, words were said and they threatened to run my name into the ground throughout the community. Come to find out that the group in charge never scheduled the auditorium, but yet I was the one with the ruined name and put to blame. I have lost sleep about this and thought that blogging would put my mind at ease. Hopefully it will all blow over and not be as big as deal as it was 8 hours ago. I just want to have a good show tonight and make sure my dancers have the best and funnest time. To understand you pretty much just had to be there. I will blog about the show and put up pics and all that stuff. Pray for me.
