Parties & Stuff
Making The Oreo Balls/with the flowers & dance outfit from G.Heather

The 4Th for Tater's bday we went to Cold Stone with my friends Kaylynne & Autumn. (It was Autumn's bday as well). Then we took treats to her dance class and because I can't figure out my machine I made a bday Leo & shirt with Iron on Rhinestones. Did them both in like 1/2 hour. So...not my best work but it was good. I also made them so she can wear them next year! Her shirt has a crown and says "birthday princess". The Treats are sooo easy and yummy! Just a package of Oreo's mashed up, cream cheese, & melted chocolate. We died the white chocolate pink because Tatum is Pinkalicious! (Next year's Party) The rings are in preparation for the Saturday Princess Party. We gave out the Wand Invites that Kelly made. Super cute! Thanks Kelly!
I had Deborah come and do glitter toes on everyone, Glamor Toes did such a great job!
While we waited for everyone to come the girls made wands. I had some of my awesome dancers come and help. I had the older ones dress up as Cinderella, Bell Odette and Snow White. Brett who is also one of my dancers (an awesome one too) was "Prince Charming".
We played "Poison Apple", "Pin the Kiss on the Frog" and the "fairy Godmother" told the story of Cinderella and gave Tater a pumpkin.
Tater blew out her candles on her melting cake then we opened presents.
Some really "enchanted people were in attendance! The Queen of England, A Knight in Shining Armor and Maleficent! Sunday, October 03, 2010

Warning! Super Long & Pic Overload!!

The month started off with the CHS Jr. Drill Camp. Tater isn't technically old enough, but I teach them ballet so, hey! I was a little scared she'd be hard to handle but she loved it!! All 2 hours both days! She kept wanting to go back & she loved the girls in charge of her group. I was impressed with them. Those little ones are hard to handle but they kept smiles on and the energy up! The first pic is of Tater giving me a "thumbs up"! She was doing all the time. Of course MY daughter is the one waving & saying hi to mom even when I'm telling the dancers not to do it. HAHA
We had family pics on the 6th and the next day we had plans to go swimming but it rained so we went to the Dino Museum instead! This is tater aka "poser" with some of the imprints that Jared finds at work all the time. He's brought some that have fallen & broken home. It's pretty cool that he can look up and see where a Dino has walked above him.
Tatum loved having all the cousins around for the whole weekend.
We looked for great-grandpa's petrified log but couldn't find. I wonder if we can get it from the museum if they aren't displaying it.
We went camping with Jared's family for a week in Colorado.
We had crafts & the girls painted the cousin's names and Kate glued them on a "log table". Tatum painted Calvin's in camo. We saw lots of deer and Jared, Wyler and I saw a BEAR! Of course we didn't have the camera. I saw it and it was standing up by a tree and looked around at us. I freaked out and made Jared drive away. We watched in jog across the road.
We spent a day at the Black Canyon. It was cool and Jared spent the day like this, packing the kids around.
We bought this four wheeler from one of Jared's friends for a good deal. They loved it! Tatum even got a pick helmet with white hibiscus flowers. I think next year Wyler will be on it ALL the time!
We stopped at Heather's for a night before heading home and it poured! So the kids played. OK, can Tatum take a normal pic?

July events

So lots of driving but totally worth it. And it wasn't' as hard to leave my kids as it was the last time.

International Days, 31st. We start off with practices all week for the performance at the park. Then decorated the Float on Friday. It was so much easier this year since we finally knew what we were doing. Thanks mom for getting the Festooning. (My new favorite word) The parade Saturday went well but we never have enough candy to last the whole parade. So, my apologies to everyone from the middle to the end. Next year I'll ask each dancer to bring 3 huge bags of candy. I actually danced in the parade this year. Ha ha it was funny. So hot! July 31st is now National Dance Day & Tabatha & Napoleon aka Nabby Tabbs from SYTYCD choreographed a National Dance that you can learn off the Internet. We did and used it for our parade routine. I had fun but I'm sure I looked silly. the performance at the park was good and we ended with the Nabby Tabbs routine. CHS & EHS drill teams along with Dance Technica joined us. It was the crowds favorite. I'm glad we did it.

Rain/Cabin/Princesses
This weekend was full of Rain! We went to the cabin with Elisa & my parents and all it did was rain. :( No prowler rides, no swings, no sandbox. But good movies and cabin toys! And thanks to Miriam for the fun brownie cupcakes! I also took Tater, Clair, Ali & Miriam to a Princess Party! (a fundraiser for the high school drill team) Tatum was so excited! Elisa brought Miriam's old Galinda Halloween costume and as soon as tater saw it she had to put it on! Then she and Bubba Q played prince & princess. They dance & kissed! Tatum was even rescued by the superhero...which ended in a disaster! Tatum climbed up 2 stair and called out for Prince Charming to save her, when he came to her rescue she jumped into his arms and they both came crashing down! Sorry Bubs! The Princess Party ended on a safer note. The girls each received a crown, wand, fuzzy pen and autograph book. Then they were announced as they entered the party. Pictures with the princesses & princes. fingernail painting & make up.
The cutest Fairy Godmother granted them each a wish. Then the treats! I wish I would have gotten a picture of the treats because they were so cute! Cupcakes, eclairs, chocolate, candy rings and yummy cake! The punch fountain had lemon & strawberry slices. We spent most of the time eating. The princesses played games with the girls but my princesses were content with eating.
The decorations were so cute, balloon arches, princess cardboard cut-outs and a bubble machine. The drill team did such a good job! I can't wait for next year!! (the pictures are not the greatest, I had to use my phone because my camera battery was dead)

What we've been up to!
Ya ya, I know! I'm always plaing catch up! So here's what we've been up to the past couple of months!
The Carbon Dance Classic was awesome! Took home 15 1st places & 2 2nds! The girls had a blast! Recital went well thanks to all thoes who helped, here and in Hawii! Couldn't have done it without you!
Tater pierced her ears! She cried but did really good when she got a sucker and a toy princess.
We visited little Soren! He is such a big cutie! I love when bub puts soren's hand in his hair. Cute litte brothers.
Went to the Zoo! Tater loves the " Silly Snakes" (ew!) We went last Sept to see the babies and the baby elephant doesn't look like he's any bigger. This is the Train Ride.
Had lunch at TGIF's with Mark. We had a good Memorial weekend, with all the 2nd couins. Celebrated Grandma Rass's b-day. She had Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cake cause I bought:). She wouldn't allow pics, so sorry Elisa. Now we're just playing in the pool and relaxing till summer dance stars next week!
